This was pre-pandemic. Sue is 75 years old. She always wanted to be able to do an unassisted pull-up. For several years we worked as a team to achieve this goal.
After working to master the fundamentals, Sue did two consecutive unassisted chin-ups, and she made them look pretty easy. She’s still refining form, but these were AMAZING!!
When we first started working together she had a tough time simply hanging from the bar. Look how far she’s come!
MANY people fail to reach their pull-up goals, and not due to a lack of trying, or because they are incapable. Their lack of success (or extremely slow progress) is because they aren’t training for the exercise as effectively as they could be, or they need to improve their pull-up specific form.
