Presenting at this conference is a huge highlight in my nearly 18 year coaching career. Sadly (but understandably), this conference has been cancelled the past two years due to the pandemic. I was really looking forward to presenting again, and growing as a presenter\/educator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"742\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241556458_361248492395495_5124421740998300797_n.jpg?resize=750%2C742&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7795\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241556458_361248492395495_5124421740998300797_n.jpg?w=750&amp;ssl=1 750w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241556458_361248492395495_5124421740998300797_n.jpg?resize=300%2C297&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2063This was just the second major presentation I\u2019d done. I had a wonderful time presenting, and am proud of how I did. I was totally in my element, shared my knowledge and passion to the best of my current ability, and was able to relax and be myself. \u2063I also met a lot of amazing people, including numerous colleagues I\u2019d never met in person.\u2063 This presentation felt entirely different from my first professional presentation I did in 2018 where I was anxious, overly reserved, and just wanted to get the presentation over with.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"714\" height=\"821\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241215840_403482751122728_3826520743589330610_n.jpg?resize=714%2C821&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7796\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241215840_403482751122728_3826520743589330610_n.jpg?w=714&amp;ssl=1 714w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/241215840_403482751122728_3826520743589330610_n.jpg?resize=261%2C300&amp;ssl=1 261w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 714px) 100vw, 714px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2063\u2063As some people know, for close to all of my life public speaking was one of my top fears. It was bordering on a phobia. When I was in high school and university, literally EVERY time I found out I\u2019d have to do a presentation I\u2019d feel sick to my stomach, and the anxiety was crippling. I\u2019d avoid presenting at all cost! Overcoming this huge fear, and actually enjoying presenting is one of my biggest accomplishments to date, and is something I NEVER thought would happen. \u2063<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2063I have a lot of learning and growing I want to do. I plan to keep bettering myself as a presenter, coach, and leader, and always will.
