This IS Normal."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Not every workout will be your best. This is TOTALLY normal. I didn\u2019t sleep well and my body is still tired from the high volume of muscle-ups I did on Sunday. So today\u2019s workout was far from my best.\u2063<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2063Consistency is what matters. I am so glad I have bought into this mindset as it\u2019s an absolute game-changer. \u2063<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/IMG_7982.jpeg?resize=750%2C855&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6866\" width=\"750\" height=\"855\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/IMG_7982.jpeg?w=750&amp;ssl=1 750w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/meghancallawayfitness.com\/my-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/IMG_7982.jpeg?resize=263%2C300&amp;ssl=1 263w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2063You don\u2019t have to push yourself to the max every time you train. In fact, if you want to train in a way that is sustainable and that lasts a lifetime (I certainly do), opt for training more consistently and listening to your body (and mind) versus crushing yourself every time you set foot in the gym (or wherever you train). Don\u2019t let your ego get in the way. \u2063<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2063Rather than fret over how terrible my muscle-ups (and everything I did) felt, I dialled my volume WAY back and focused on refining my skills.
